(1) Dangerous Goods
Dangerous goods that can cause personnel injuries or endanger aviation safety and transport order, including explosives, gas, flammable liquid, flammable solid, combustible substance, substance that would release flammable gas in contact with water, oxidizer, organic peroxide, toxic substance, infectious substance, radioactive substance, corrosive substance and substances and articles that do not belong to any category mentioned above but are hazardous in air transport. Specifically include:
a. Compressed gas and liquefied gas, like hydrogen, methane, ethane, butane, natural gas, ethylene, propylene, acetylene(dissolved in the medium), carbon monoxide, liquefied petroleum gas, freon, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water gas, lighter fuel, and liquefied gas for lighters.
b. Spontaneous combustion articles, such as yellow phosphorus, white phosphorus, nitrocellulose(including film), oil paper and products thereof.
c. Flammable materials in contact with water, such as potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium carbide(calcium carbide), magnesium aluminum powder.
d. Flammable liquids such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, benzene, ethanol(alcohol), acetone, ether, paint, thinner, rosin oil and flammable solvents.
e. Flammable solids such as red phosphorus, flash powder, solid alcohol, celluloid, foaming agent.
f. Oxidizer and organic peroxides such as potassium permanganate, potassium peroxide, sodium peroxide, potassium peroxide, alumina peroxide, peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide.
g. Toxic chemicals such as cyanide, arsenic, highly toxic pesticides,etc.
h. Corrosive materials such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, mercury((mercury).
i. Radioactive material, such as radioisotope.
(2) Explosive or combustion substances and devices
An explosive or combustion device (substance) which may cause serious personal injury or endangering aviation safety or an item that may be mistaken for such a device (substance), mainly including:
a. Ammunition, such as bombs, grenades, flares, incendiary bombs, smoke bombs, signal flares, tear gas, gas bombs, bullets(lead bombs, empty bombs, coaches bombs).
b. Blasting equipment, such as explosives, detonators, fuzes, detonators, fuses, detonating cords, blasting agents.
c. Pyrotechnic products, such as fireworks, tobacco cakes, yellow smoke, fireworks.
d. Simulation of the above items.
(3) Weapons like guns (Except those handled in accordance with relevant regulations. For details, please refer to the contents of guns and ammunition checked in " Limited Carry-on or Check-in Articles " on the official website of Sichuan Airlines), including major parts capable of firing ammunition (including pills and other objects) and device causing serious personal injury or articles which may be mistaken as such devices, include but not limited to:
a. Military gun, official gun, such as pistols, rifles, submachine guns, machine guns, riot guns.
b. Civilian guns, such as air guns, shotguns, shooting sports guns, anesthesia injection guns.
c. Other firearms, such as prop guns, starting guns, steel ball guns, overseas firearms and various types of illegally manufactured firearms.
d. Simulation of the above items.
(4) Controlled appliance. (Except those handled in accordance with relevant regulations: antique swords, knives or tourist souvenir swords, knives and similar items can only be transported as checked baggage and comply with relevant regulations of Sichuan Airlines.). Controlled appliance that can cause personal injury or pose great hazard to aviation safety and transport order, mainly including:
a. Controlled knives, such as dagger, triangular knives, a spring knife or a jump knife with a self-locking device, and other similar single-edged, double-edged, multi-blade tools and other single-edged, double-edged and triangular blades.
b. Military and police equipment, such as batons, police electric shocks, military or police daggers, handcuffs, thumb squats, ankles, tear sprayers.
c. Other controlled devices that are subject to national regulation, such as crossbow.
(5) Other items Other items that can cause personal injury or pose great hazard to aviation safety and transport order, mainly including:
a. Infectious pathogens such as hepatitis B virus, Bacillus anthracis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, HIV.
b. Fire (including various types of ignition devices), such as lighters, matches, cigarette lighters, magnesium rods (flints).
c. Power bank and lithium battery of which the rated energy exceeds 160Wh/Whr(Watt hour/Wh/Whr/W·h are all in watt-hours.), or which are recalled by manufacturer due to safety defect, or of which the identification is obscure, or which without definite manufacture, or the rated energy/lithium metal content cannot be identified (There are separate regulations for lithium batteries used in electric wheelchairs);
d. The alcohol drink of which the alcohol volume percentage exceeds 70%.
e. Strong magnetization material, material with strong pungent smell or which is liable to cause passenger panic and material of which nature cannot be identified and may impose hazard.
f. SCAL does not carry live and perishable items with simple and crude packing and distinct smellas baggage (See "Special Baggage" on the official website of Sichuan Airlines for fresh and perishable items that meet the transportation requirements of Sichuan Airlines).
g. Articles not suitable for transport in the form of packing, shape, weight, volume, or nature.
h. Other items specified by SCAL not suitable for checked luggage.
(6) Small animals (Except those handled in accordance with relevant regulations, see "Small Animal Transportation" on the official website of Sichuan Airlines).
(7) Small gas oxygen bottle for medical use (or air bottle) and liquid oxygen device, including the used oxygen bottle, including empty bottle.
(8) Articles prohibited from transport as stipulated in national laws, administrative rules and regulations , as well as articles prohibited from exit, enry or transit of the PRC or via other states as stipulated by laws and regulations.
